Story Concept

Intro

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. It is three years after the Hundred-Year War, and the four nations are finding their way back to harmony. But something strange is happening to benders, shifting the elements within them in dangerous ways.
You wake up with an injury and you don’t remember much of anything at all. All you can piece together from your past is that you have valuable information from the Spirit Library about this phenomenon. You must bring this to Avatar Aang before it’s too late. Now to figure out what it is
Main Story Beats (Act 1)
1) You wake up in a cave, where a healer called Lanik is tending to you. You discover you are a bender, but your abilities are weakened by an injury you do not remember. You have no other memories.

2) You run errands for the healer who saved you, which helps you practice bending and regain some of your abilities. (Complete a minimum of 3 side quests.)

3) As you regain your strength, you also get a sense you are forgetting something important. You yearn to recover your memories...something about the Spirit Library rings a bell. Lanik tells you about an extraordinary healer known as the Reviver, with remarkable abilities in recovering ‘lost cause’ injuries. You can choose whether to journey to the Library or to find the Reviver.

4) Lanik is grateful for your help with her errands and gives you a pendant. She tells you that when it is filled with spiritual energy, it can draw you closer to what your heart truly wants. Unfortunately, it is empty, but maybe it will come in handy someday.

5) You journey to the next town, where you encounter the twins Hoka and Rusto. One of them steals your pendant, and you fight them to get it back. Afterwards, you discover they are looking for the Reviver too. Rusto resents that Hoka is taller than him by an inch and wants to grow taller. You get the sense that there is more to their story than that.

6) You run errands for local townfolk in order to earn some money for an eel hound. You want to travel faster and get to your destination soon. Hoka and Rusto team up with you to complete some of these errands, and you plan on hitching a ride together since the Library and the Reviver are in the same direction. (Complete a minimum of 3 side quests)

7) Before you leave, you notice the pendant is starting to fill up with spiritual energy. You also notice you’re starting to get a strange feeling in your chest, as though you are drowning. You mention this to the twins and Rusto confesses he has experienced the same thing. This is news to Hako, who never knew her brother was sick in any way.
